How much do canoe paddles weigh?
Canoe paddles range in weight from a mere 8.5 oz for extreme racing paddles up to 44 oz or more, ( 241 g to 1247 g, or .5 lbs to about 3 lbs).
At some point, most of us are ready to upgrade to a lighter, stronger and better paddle. Knowing the weight of the paddle you currently have and the weight of the ones you are looking at is a helpful starting place.
